  Appliqué is ornamental needlework in which pieces or patches of fabric in different shapes and patterns are sewn or stuck onto a larger piece to form a picture or pattern. It is commonly used as decoration, especially on garments. The technique is accomplished either by hand stitching or machine.  I took appliqué embroidery to make a laptop bag out of waste material. I used muslin and left overs of fabrics and stitched it together on a hand made muslin bag. Here’s how it ended; Thank you ! 

My goal in my own work has always been to have a strong voice and for it to overflow with personality.
